Apple's Business Strategy, Product Development Propelled By User Experience

The last few weeks, but especially the last few days, we have been bombarded by all types of media about the Apple Event that took place yesterday. The highly anticipated event suffered from technical difficulties during their livestream, but still managed to unveil their new products slated for release on Friday, September 19, 2014, the new iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and Apple Watch.

Apple's strategy from day one has always been to provide the end user with a superior experience. Their decision to a update to a bigger screen and releasing the first Apple watch in early 2015 are the byproduct their genius strategy to put competition second and the user's experience with the product first.

These latest changes are the direct result of them listening to their loyal fan base and critics. The price, the product placement, promotion, marketing, and everything behind the upcoming launch of the iPhone 6 begins and ends with the user.

Some will disagree, arguing that competitors like Samsung give them a healthy run for their money. But I always counter that the court judgment against Samsung proved that they stole Apple's concept and technology.

Apple was the forerunner and pioneer, therefore putting them in a position to lead instead of follow.

Steve Jobs was known for making the end users' experience supreme in development of his products and services. Apple carries on this tradition by incorporating this into their ongoing strategy in product development.

So what can users of the new Apple products expect?

Buyers of the new iPhone 6 can expect a 4.7 inch display and iPhone 6 plus users will get a 5.5 inch screen, not much smaller than the competing Samsung Galaxy. The watch is compatible with iPhone 5 iOS and up. The retina touchscreen ranges from 38mm-42mm in size this many choices available in style and finish.

When we first form our businesses, we have a vision and mission. It can be easy to veer off the path because of trends that seem to be working for others, or advice from trusted and loyal friends.

In spite of all this, we must make the decision to put the end user of our products and services at the forefront of our development processes.

Responding to criticism and soliciting feedback helps us design what our clients really need to make their lives easier. Stay tuned for an updated pricing structure coming soon to ChrissyBiz Solutions.
Use your business plan to your advantage, constantly refering back to it for direction and inspiration. Use it to jog your memory before going into business partnerships, and to inspire you when you feel like you have failed. Apple teaches us that sticking to what we believe in will pay off.
